There are three methods of removing hydrogel contact lenses from a patient's eye.

  1) Pinching the lens off the 
	    inferior sclera.



	2) Pinching the lens off the 
	    temporal sclera



  3) Pinching the lens off the cornea 
      (not recommended due to the 
       chance of abrading the cornea).
